Project description

HGA started from a simple question: what is left of an object when it is painted by hand, step by step, instead of generated with AI?

The series portrays everyday pieces — a Bialetti coffee maker, an Olivetti typewriter, an umbrella, a Japanese ping-pong paddle — with the same watercolor-and-ink technique that has defined the rest of the studio since 2011. It doesn't chase the perfect object or an exact reproduction: it keeps the process visible — the pulse of the hand, the porous texture of the paper.

At a moment when any image can be generated in seconds, Human-Generated Art is a manifesto: every piece in this series was physically painted, honoring the time each step takes.
